Four Days of Fall Blizzard in the Western U.P.

Four days of constant snow squalls should end tomorrow here in the Western U.P., with the temps dropping to lows in the single digits. I don't believe I have ever moved more snow by hand. Three to four feet on the ground, with drifts to five. Poor timing with rifle season for White Tails opening on Saturday. It has been a nightmare to try to keep my son's blind open, as well as the shooting lane (and deer feed unburied). Hoping for some sun tomorrow (Friday) and the last minute opportunity to get everything cleared. The deep snow is hard on our deer and makes them more vulnerable to predation by the Gray Wolf. This fawn, her twin sister, and her mother are regular visitors at Rauhallinen Farm.
