The Houghton Falls Natural Area, located a few miles north of Washburn in Bayfield County, WI, presents the landscape photographer with varied opportinities, most notably in the witner. Pre-cambrian dramatic sandstone cliffs lined with canada yew, white cedar, yellow birch, and hemlock are best captured with a wide to ultra wide angle lens (author's choice was the Canon 17-40L).
