It was the weekend of the Harbor Springs cycling event, a number of years ago, that on the way North, we noticed this species, in addition to the White variety, all along the roadsides (then looked it up). Was also the weekend of the newborn fawn sighting, spotting a Cuckoo at the nature preserve, and you feeding horses carrots. I remember listening to David Gilmour's third solo album on the trip up, On an Island. Lovely memories to revisit when prompted by seeing this species at Rauhallinen Farm....
