My son and I visited the Ice Caves on Lake Superior (Cornucpia, WI) on Sunday. The crowds were in the thousands, which is of course a rarity in itself in this area (as Lake Superior Ice is only safe to make the trek every decade or so). Great ice formations for wide angle shooting. The walk is about two miles from the beach, but some folks who arrived late (we got there about 0730) had to park up to five miles away.
