albeit

reluctantly.

To see shape,

structure, and juxtaposition.

Recognize loneliness 

accept it

use it to feel

those spaces that can
otherwise go without notice.

Remember the

smell of a woman's
neck

the love of a dog

or dogs

and

of course

getting lost occasionally

in thought 

and woods with

 recalcitrant

crows
who unfurl
invectives down
from Aspen.

To use the camera

without thought

as taking a piss

and have it

work out

in the end.
