The snow is early in the Western Upper Peninsula, but in the U.P., who really can own a yardstick to measure early vs. late? There are six months of Winter here, guaranteed, no matter how things start or finish. Three inches on the ground here at Rauhallinen Farm, wet and heavy like downstate snow. The perennials need to be cut back and the annuals dug out, but until we get a warm spell, all is entombed until further notice.
